I don't have much suction:

Are all parts hooked up correctly? PetVac works with any vacuum, large or small. Make sure your vacuum is connected to the proper side of the lid with the cone adapter. You should always have suction when it is hooked up correctly. Is your PetVac on a flat surface and not tipped over? Check the cage/ball under the lid to make sure the ball stopper moves around freely and not stuck or full of hair. If full of hair, you have hooked it up backwards. Also, the filter may be carefully taken off and cleaned.

Is there a warranty for the PetVac:

We offer replacement only if for some reason it is received damaged or defective.

My pet is still afraid of it:

If your pet trusts you, he/she will trust you brushing them. If your pet has an issue with trust, start by brushing them with your vacuum turned OFF until your pet is relaxed, then have someone else turn the vacuum on while you are brushing them when you feel your pet is ready.

Do I have to sign up with PayPal to pay for my order?:

No. You can use your credit card to pay. We use PayPal as a merchant account because they are safe, secure and easy. At checkout you will have the option of using your existing PayPal account or pay using just your credit card. Signing up with PayPal is always optional.

How long will it take to receive my order?:

Orders ship in up to 3 days of receiving payment IF ordered from this website: www.mypetvac.com . US orders ship USPS ground and their transit time takes up to 5 to 7 business days. AK, HI, and PO Box addresses ship USPS and may take longer to receive. US orders only on this website: www.mypetvac.com .

If ordered from www.petvac.com or from TV, orders can take 4 to 6 weeks to receive, unless added rush shipping, which costs extra.

My pets fur is too thick for the ShedEliminator:

If your pets hair is really thick, and you are having problems using the ShedEliminator, always brush your pets fur BEFORE using the ShedEliminator de-shedding tool, to remove all tangles. The ShedEliminator is not a comb or brush.

The suction is strong and sucking my pets skin:

If the PetVac is sucking in your pets skin, try using the relief  valve on your vacuum hose, if you have one. If not, try putting your hose half on half off the cone adaptor connected to the PetVac lid. Since you have a very powerful vacuum, you can always try a different vacuum with a hose, if you have one.

I am having problems hooking up the PetVac:

Make sure you insert the cone adapter to the correct side of the lid. It should be inserted in the side where the filter is underneath. Then, connect your vacuum hose to the cone adapter. If your vacuum hose is larger than standard size vacuum hose, you may need the drain unclogging tool to connect. You may purchase it from this website, it is included in the 3 piece accessory kit. See illustrations below:

       

If the end of your vacuum hose is square or odd shaped (not round) you may not be able to connect it to the PetVac. Try a different vacuum.

*You do not need a dustbag in the PetVac to operate the PetVac.
